Hat Materials
Split Buffalo Leather
A thicker and more sturdier leather then cow hide leather . It has a natural surface structure, is strong and durable, yet soft and flexable at the same time.
Full Grain Buffalo Leather
Leather from the upper section of the hide. The grain is left in its natural state which provides greater breathability, resulting in greater comfort for clothing. Minor scarring maybe apparent which enhances the characters. A smooth, comfortable handle that ages well.
Kangaroo Suede
Ultra lightweight leather that is easily crushable and ideal for warmer climates. It has a higher abrasion resistance compared with cowhide, thus providing greater protection.
Canvas
Specially treated canvas to provide water proof properties
Oilskin
l2oz cotton canvas specially coated in bee's wax. Water proof and wind resistant.
Laminated Oilskin
Thick 24oz cotton canvas specially coated in bee's wax. Water proof and wind resistant.
Waterproof suede
A leather with a napped finish. Due to suede not including the tough exterior skin layer, it is less durable but softer than full-grain leather. Specially treated to be waterproof.
Mesh
A loosely woven fabric that has a large number of closely-spaced holes, providing ample circulation around the head, and minimizing sweat spots.
